Saturday 8th Feb

Solihull Moors MR v Brackley Town u16's

Brackley Town u16's kept a clean sheet & came away with their 1st away point of the season against a very physical & direct Solihull Moors team. Brackley had to work & battle hard dealing with a team who would only play route one football. They were dominant in the air & they were looking to flick their nippy forward in at every opportunity.

Saturday 1st Feb

Brackley Town Tigers   U8s v Hook Norton U8s

Both teams played out a superb game of football on Saturday morning. In very windy and cold conditions, all players on both teams were a credit to their clubs.

Saturday 1st Feb

Brackley Town Lions U8s v Carterton Town U8s

The Lions had a tough game against a well organised side. The boys started off slowly but came back fighting levelling up the score. A draw was no more than the boys deserved but unfortunately in the last minutes of the game Carterton scored a goal to steal the win. Amazing performance by every player all working hard for each other and really putting in a shift for the team.

Saturday 1st February

Brackley Town u16's had a 200 mile round trip with just 12 players this weekend to play Priory Celtic Youth in Nottingham on a good 3G surface. The conditions weren't great what with the wind & the sun really low but this 3G surface could suit us. Our game plan was to get the ball down & play quick passing football & Brackley didn't disappoint especially 1st half. On paper Priory Celtic were favourites as they are much higher in the table, scored more goals & conceded less than we have so far this season.
