Brackley Athletic Girls U13s vs Brackley Town U13 Girls  - Sunday 18th October

For their third game of the season the U13 girls played Brackley Athletic in a local derby. Town started the better team and should of been in front if a speculative volley by Izzy G from the half way line had been a few inches lower and if not for the Brackley Athletic goalkeeper making an outstanding save to stop Holly from putting Town 1-0 up! The game was very open with both teams playing really well and it could of easily gone either way.

Brackley Town U13 Girls vs AFC Rushden & Diamond Blues - Saturday 10th October

After a successful win in their first league game against Silverstone last week the girls played away to Rushden and Diamonds Blues. After a cagey start with Rushden starting as the better team Brackley took the lead through a well worked play down the right with Alice crossing across the box for Evie to tap in. Rushden quickly replied with an equaliser and then took control scoring 2 more goals and the teams went into half time at 3-1 to Rushden.

Harborough Town away

Saturday 10th October

A very slow start to the game and Brackley found themselves 2-0 down inside the opening 10 mins, as Brackley tried to get back into the game and with a great counter attack should have been awarded a penalty but a freekick was given. 2 more soft and sloppy goads followed and Brackley were struggling to deal with the pace Harborough had down the wings. Just before half time the goal of the match came, number 10 for Harborough picked up the ball beat 2 players before firing into the top corner from 25 yards.
