Under 12 girls - Sunday 19th January.

Brackley town U12s girls took on AFC Rushden & Diamonds whites at Helmdon on a frosty and sunny morning. Brackley started the stronger of the two teams with having a few half chances before Evie played a 1-2 with Alice and then toe poking the resulting pass under the Rushden goalie to put brackley into the lead. Rushden replied with a strong spell and gained a penalty. Chloe done well to get a hand to it but it wasn't quite enough for the powerful penalty from the Rushden striker. The teams went into half time locked at 1-1 in a very entertaining game so far.

BTFC Under 10's v Chesterton

Football always a tale of two halves and it was the hosts looking lively after the break pulling things level to make an entertaining game for both sides where every Brackley player worked with each other in their best team performance of the season. A draw was looking on the cards until in the last minute Town won a penalty which was converted to sneak the victory in the dying seconds. The progression of the Under 10's continues with an amazing squad performance where every player did their job but credit to their opponents who again pushed them to show their full abilities.

Another exciting performance from the fast-improving U11's as they welcomed Hook Norton to 'windy' Helmdon for a thoroughly engrossing encounter.

Match report Town vs Jaffa's.

On a tough wet soggy pitch and windy conditions Brackley towns played Jaffa's, in the U10s champions cup.

Jaffa's started well, maintaining possession and keeping the ball in towns half. Town defended well, and kept Jaffa's away from the town goal, town slowly started to come into game, and now the game was even both teams wanted to play football, and build attack's, really good game lots of quality football in tricky conditions.
Jaffa's started the second half well, and kept pressure on town. Really good game both teams had chances, with town hitting post and having one cleared off of the line. Credit to both clubs and players for a entertaining game.
