Brackley Town Girls v Thrapston Town Girls U12’s (13/01/2019)

Brackley Town Girls U12’s who compete in the Northants Women’s & Girls Macron League played Thrapston Town at home and came away with a point after an “exciting” 0-0 draw.  It doesn’t sound exciting but it was and after the first few minutes it looked like this would be a goal feast for both teams - however both defences/goalkeepers were outstanding and the last quarter of the game became a very tense as first one team then the other had chances to win the match. A big well done to the Girls there very first clean sheet of the season.  Brackley Girls train on Tuesday nights from 5:30 to 6:30 on the AGP at Brackley Town FC and are actively looking for more players aged 9, 10 or 11 to come along and get involved. If you know a young player who may be interested please feel free to bring them along to one of our training sessions (shin pads and drinks needed).
