Following a 3pm pitch inspection at The Attis Arena today, tomorrow's fixture has unfortunately being postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Despite Scunthorpe's best efforts to protect the pitch with frost covers, parts of the pitch remain frozen following overnight sub-zero temperatures and with little chance to thaw out with more freezing weather due over night the game has been postponed.

We thank Scunthorpe for arranging the pitch inspection in good time and keeping us updated, allowing us to prepare accordingly.

A new date will be arranged and announced in due course.

The covers were put on ahead of the plummet in temperature, with areas of deep frost still evident across areas of the surface. In particular, the strip of pitch towards the AMS Stand, which gets no sunlight, remains frozen solid, and has not improved throughout the course of Friday.
