Brackley Town are delighted to announce the permanent signing of much coveted striker Connor Hall from Solihull Moors*.
The 26 year-old returns to St James Park where he had spent half of last season on loan, making himself an instant Brackley Town hero with a hat-trick on his debut against Banbury United on New Years' Day. Hall went on to make 23 appearances for the Saints last season, scoring 9 goals as the Saints reached the play-off final.
Hall began his career in non-league with his local side Binfield, eventually earning himself a move to Sheffield United where he signed a professional deal just over a year later. Impressive loan spells at Sheffield FC, Mickleover and Woking followed, before he joined Bolton Wanderers in 2017. He made four first team appearances for the Wanderers, as well a further 17 appearances for League One side Accrington Stanley in a loan spell.
Hall returned to Woking on a one year deal in 2020, before returning North to Chorley where he scored an extra-time winning goal in the FA Cup first round against League one side Wigan Athletic, then scoring an equalising goal to make it 1–1 as Chorley came back to knock league one side Peterborough United out 2–1 at London Road.
He signed a two-year deal at Solihull Moors in May 2023 and joined National League South side Farnborough on loan before being loaned to Brackley and he now makes the permanent switch to St James Park.
Brackley Town manager Gavin Cowan had this to say about Connor's return “We’re delighted to have secured Connor permanently, we all got to see for ourselves what he adds to the group so we’re excited. Testament to Connor and Solihull for making this happen, it’s been a very smooth process because of the people involved.”
Brackley Town Football club would like to thank Solihull Moors for their support with the transfer.
