Jervis, who joins the Saints for Finnish Premier League side KuPS, has over 200 EFL appearances under his belt. He began his youth career at Wolverhampton Wanderers before joining Birmingham City in 2009, where he helped the Blues reach the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup. He made his first-team debut against Everton in the FA Cup.

Following a few loan moves whilst at the Blues, including to Hereford, Notts County and Portsmouth, he moved abroad to Elazığspor in Turkey in 2013 before signing for Plymouth Argyle in 2015, where he scored 27 times in 108 appearances. He then joined Luton Town as the Hatters finished as EFL League Two runners-up in 2017/18

He had loan spells at Salford City and AFC Wimbledon before joining SJK Seinäjoki in the Finnish top-tier, where he played alongside current Saints midfielder Alfie Bates. He scored 17 times in 54 appearances at SJK before leaving Finland briefly for Indian Super League side East Bengal in July 2023. Jervis then returned to Finland, signing with KuPS until the end of the season.
