Brackley Town are delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Scott Pollock.

The 23-year-old began his career in the Northampton Town academy joining as an under-14 and coming through the Cobblers Football & Education programme. He then began playing for Hashtag United where he caught international recognition by playing for the viral non-league side, including winning the man of the match award in the EE Wembley Cup in 2017, a competition that included the likes of Steven Gerrard and Robbie Fowler.

In 2018, Pollock was offered a professional contract by former club Northampton Town. He made a total of 27 appearances for his boyhood club, scoring twice. In February 2022 he joined Boston United on loan and scored 10 minutes into his debut against Kettering Town, he then joined Boston permanently in the summer of 2022, and went on to have an excellent season, scoring 14 goals in 27 appearances and ended the calendar year as the top scorer in the National League North.

He was then snapped up by Yeovil Town for an undisclosed fee in March 2023 however his time at the Glovers was limited by injury and he left Huish Park in April 2024.

Scott has just returned from the US where he has been competing for Hashtag United in the The Soccer Tournament (TST) 7-a-side competition, they reached the knock-out stages of the $1 million winner takes-all competition.

Brackley Town manager Gavin Cowan had this to say about his new signing "We are really excited that Scott has signed. He is hungry to get back to playing to the levels we have seen and is fit coming into pre-season having been playing in the US. He will fit in with the lads seamlessly as he knows a few and add real quality to us.”

Welcome to St James Park Scott!
