Brackley Town is pleased to announce that Gavin Cowan has signed a contract extension with the club to run until the end of the 2024-25 season. Gavin was appointed manager at the end of last season on a one-year-deal.
He has guided the team to impressive form and a potential play-off place in his first full campaign in charge.
“I’m really pleased to be able to commit to the club for a further year and build on a successful start so far,” Gavin said in a statement.
“That being said, I am totally committed to the job in hand in the here and now and can’t wait for the remaining ten games of this season. I have loved every minute so far and totally believe in the good people running the club, the players and the fans and I am delighted to be here at a club I feel really connected to.”
Chairman Francis Oliver believes that Cowan has the leadership skills and football know-how to produce sustained success at St James Park.
