We travel to Greater Manchester on Saturday for a visit to Curzon Ashton (kick-off: 3pm) as National League North action resumes.
Curzon are enjoying a successful campaign, currently sitting 8th and just a single point behind the Saints in 6th, but having played two games fewer. Before Tuesday evening’s defeat at Farsley Celtic, Curzon had put a five-game unbeaten run together including four wins. Interim player-manager Craig Mahon's side has won the last two home games against Blyth Spartans and Bishop’s Stortford.
When the sides met last season the honours were even. Brackley won in November at St James Park, while Curzon came out on top in March at The Tameside Stadium by 3-1 with Jimmy Armson netting for Saints.
The following Saturday, Scarborough Athletic will be the visitors to SJP with a 2pm kick-off.
There then follows the festive double header against Banbury United. Tickets for the return leg at SJP on New Year’s Day go on sale from 16th December. This is an all-ticket, segregated game. Full ticket details will be announced soon.
