After Saturday’s win over Spennymoor Saints travel to The Citadel to take on Farsley Celtic in another National League North fixture as we reach the quarter-way mark of the season.

Against second-placed Spennymoor goals from Dan Turner (two) and Danny Newton put Gavin Cowan’s side in a commanding position midway through the first half to record a first win in five league games.

Brackley are 8th and Farsley are currently 13th just three points behind Brackley and having played one game fewer. They are in good form having won two of their last three games so will come into the game full of confidence. Manager Clayton Donaldson has enjoyed a long playing career at all levels up to the Championship and now combines performing on the pitch with his role as head coach.

When the teams met at The Citadel last season it was a re-arranged Tuesday evening game late in the season won 2-1 by the home side with Shep Murombedzi on the score-sheet for Saints.
