Adopt  a Brackley Grandparent!

It is estimated that around 500,000 people aged 65 plus are faced with the prospect of spending Christmas alone this year in the UK. Christmas can be a particularly painful time of year for those that experience loneliness throughout the year. In 2020 in particular there is a real need to 'go the extra mile'.

This year Brackley Elves will be spreading some Christmas Cheer to the elderly living alone in our town. We are working with SNVB, BAVCS and Brackley Saints Community Project to deliver a Festive Goody Bag to each of them.

Community Christmas Cards

We are asking the community to write a Christmas Card to someone Living alone in Brackley.

You can include your contact details if you wish, or simply a festive greeting. Write Brackley Elves somewhere on the envelope and post it through the letter box of the Volunteer Centre, Located between Hummingbirds and Courtyard Coffee House by 14th December. These will then be distributed along with the goody bags.

If you know of anyone who is faced with the prospect of spending Christmas alone, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
