The Saints Community Project ‘Our Christmas Day ‘

Wow what an amazing couple of days we have had ! The heavy snow hit Sunday and the cold weather prevailed, I was daunted by the tasks ahead on Tuesday morning to get the site and club ready for the finale of the year ‘ Our Christmas Day  together ‘ with numbers approaching 100 the pressure was on.

We were overwhelmed today when Debbie from the Cleaning Group ISS UK  arrived at the football club with an amazingly hamper of goodies donated by her wonderful team for the Saints Community Project .. combating isolation and loneliness in our community.

It was a buzz of activity at Brackley town FC on Tuesday 24th October 2017. Outside the clubhouse, Kevin Wilkin, First Team Manager, heading up the fun and well organised half term soccer schools open to both boys and girls aged between 4-11 years old. At the same time the seniors of Brackley and surrounding villages enjoyed their Tuesday morning weekly session of Walking Football for the over 50s lead by Mark Craddock.

Brackley Town FC has secured £11,779 funding from the National League Trust in partnership with the Premier League and the Professional Footballers' Association for our Saints Community Project programme.  This is the fourth year running that the project has been generously supported with a grant from the Trust.
