Kevin Wilkin’s side goes to Gloucester City’s TigerTurf Stadium for a second ever visit on Saturday ahead of Monday’s visit to St James Park by Kidderminster Harriers.
Saints have one win from the opening four games and face a tough run of matches. Playing almost the entire 90 minutes against Farsley Celtic on Saturday with only ten men, Saints enjoyed the better of things in the first half creating good chances but failing to convert them, including a 41st-minute penalty that was saved by Farsley keeper Max Dearnsley. Nevertheless, Farsley took their chances to record a first win over Saints and leave Brackley at the wrong end of the table after these opening skirmishes of a long season.
Gloucester City have started well at home, beating Boston United and Peterborough Sports, while suffering successive defeats on their travels. The Tigers have ex-Saint Tre Mitford in their squad.
If you cannot get to the game, the club will provide live match commentary from 2.55pm – see the link on social media or via Mixlr. BBC Oxford and BBC Radio Northampton will carry pre-match, half-time and full-time reports.
