After last Saturday’s second-half comeback at Darlington, Saints have successive home games starting with the visit to St James Park of Buxton on Saturday.

Buxton won the NPL last season and gained promotion to Step 2 for the first time in the club’s history. The Bucks brought in Jamie Vermiglio from Chorley to take them into the new season and are currently 19th in the table on 12 points. They are the draw experts with only Spennymoor drawing more games this season. The Silversands side won against Spennymoor last Saturday in their first away win of the season.

Progress in the FA Cup has been made through to the first round proper where they next host Southern League Merthyr Tydfil.

Brackley come into the game on the back of two draws in the first two games under new manager Roger Johnson. Johnson has no injury doubts for the game and will select from a full squad for his second home game in charge.

This game is also our Family Day. From 1pm, there will be activities on our all-weather pitch and then you’ll get the chance to meet some of the Brackley Town first team for autographs! Plus, take lots of pics with our mascot, Sammy the Saint!
