After Tuesday night’s draw away at Southport Saints return to St James Park on Saturday with a further National League North fixture before next Saturday’s FA Trophy tie at National League South Braintree Town. Curzon Ashton are the visitors on Saturday with kick-off 3pm.

Saints travelled to Southport in midweek with a depleted squad due to injury and unavailability and, despite conceding in just the second minute, came away with a deserved point against a spirited, in- form Sandgrounders side. Meanwhile Curzon played out a goal-less affair at home versus Leamington to remain in 17 th place with five wins from their 15 games so far. Curzon have enjoyed a fine FA Cup run earning a replay against Cambridge United which is scheduled for Tuesday.

Curzon’s form has been strong with two defeats in nine games and strong away form with just one defeat in seven on the road.
