Darlington FC V Brackley Town FC - Vanarama National League North - Saturday 23rd April 2022 - KO 3.00pm
With four matches of the scheduled season remaining Saints travel to Darlington on Saturday.
Brackley are four points behind leaders Gateshead who staged a remarkable come-back on Monday reversing a 2-0 half-time deficit with four second half goals. Ironically the visitors were Darlington.
Darlington are aiming for a play-off spot and are currently in 11th spot, four points off a play-off berth. A five game unbeaten run was ended by successive defeats against Curzon Ashton and then Gateshead. Until defeat against Curzon, The Quakers had won five successive home games conceding just twice.
Darlington will not be segregating supporters for this game and visiting supporters will enter via the home turnstiles at the East of the Blackwell Meadow ground. However away supporters will not have access to the main home supporters’ stand, The East Stand. This will be clearly sign-posted.
Darlington designate the entire ground as non-smoking/non-vaping and monitor compliance strictly and ask that all supporters heed advice around social distancing for Covid.
If you cannot get to the game, our commentary team will provide full match commentary from the Blackwell Meadow stadium on Saturday. BBC Radio Oxford and BBC Radio Northampton will carry live pre-match, half-time and full-time reports from our own media team.
