Match reports 2020/21 Season

AFC Telford United  3-0  Brackley Town  Tues 6 Oct 2020

As on Saturday Saints fell behind in this game despite having the better of things but unlike against Billericay they were unable to conjure an equaliser and conceded further late goals to leave the Bucks Head stadium empty-handed.

Brackley Town  2-2  Billericay Town  (Brackley win on pens 4-2)

FA Cup 2Q 3 Oct 2020

Brackley kicked off the new season with an action-packed FA Cup tie at a rainy St James Park behind closed doors and began the campaign with a rousing penalty shoot-out win.

Two late goals from substitute Brad Rolt on his first appearance for Brackley took the game to penalties which saw the home side through as keeper Danny Lewis pulled off two fine saves.

Oxford City  0-0  Brackley Town   26 Sept 2020

A tightly contested game ended goal-less before the managers, with next Saturday’s FA Cup ties in mind, agreed to give both teams penalty practice in an extended shoot-out that saw more shots miss and saved than hit the net although both goalkeepers converted neatly to round off a blustery afternoon at Marsh Lane.

Brackley Town 1-2  Hemel Hempstead   19 Sept 2020

Saints slip to unlikely defeat

Saints contrived to lose this pre-season game having dominated for long periods and created sufficient chances to have won by a margin.  But Hemel’s Jake Evans rifled in a long-range effort on the hour to equalise Lee Ndlovu’s opening goal before Harry Flowers received his marching orders and the visitors went ahead from the ensuing free-kick.
