Brackley Town  0-2  Kidderminster Harriers   17 Nov 2020

Harriers fine form continues

Kidderminster departed St James Park with a first win in five visits, two first half goals and stout defending enough to claim the points.

With Jimmy Armson, Connor Franklin and Danny Lewis unavailable, Jordan Cullinane-Liburd made a first home appearance and Ali Worby started again in goal.

Saints were quickly behind as Amari Morgan-Smith headed in Ashley Hemmings’ cross from close range giving Worby no chance in just the 5th minute.  Harriers were two goals to the good on the half hour through Sam Austin after good work on the left by Omari Sterling.

The visitors pressed and made life difficult for Saints who came into the game and enjoyed the better of things without making the break-through.  Lee Ndlovu hit the post after good work by Matt Lowe and twice Harriers cleared off the line in goalmouth scrambles.

The defeat leaves Saints in 16th place with a solitary win in six games while Kidderminster move up to 4th.
