Match reports 2020/21 Season

Leamington  1-1  Brackley Town    1 Dec 2020

Points shared in tight tussle

Games between the two local rivals have been traditionally tight encounters and this behind-closed-doors midweek tussle was no different.

Leamington went ahead in the dying seconds of the first half as Sam Osborne broke away and his cross-shot dipped under the bar after 45 minutes of combative play with only rare threats on either goal.

Tranmere Rovers  1-0  Brackley Town  FAC Rd2   27 Nov 2020

No Black Friday blues for Brackley

A stunning strike midway through the second half separated the sides on a night when Kevin Wilkin’s side stood tall for non-league football.  A determined and resilient performance was not enough to overcome opposition 56 leagues places higher but instead Saints left Prenton Park and a live BBC television audience of millions with great credit and heads high as a third attempt to reach the FA Cup 3rd round faltered by the narrowest of margins.

Brackley Town  1-1  Chester   21 Nov 2020

Points shared in tight tussle

Both sides deserved a point in a tightly contested game of few chances.  Chester returned to action after a 3 week break while Kevin Wilkin’s Saints looked to bounce back from the midweek defeat against Kidderminster Harriers.

Brackley Town  0-2  Kidderminster Harriers   17 Nov 2020

Harriers fine form continues

Kidderminster departed St James Park with a first win in five visits, two first half goals and stout defending enough to claim the points.

With Jimmy Armson, Connor Franklin and Danny Lewis unavailable, Jordan Cullinane-Liburd made a first home appearance and Ali Worby started again in goal.
