Weekly club update:  Sat 17 July

Our weekly club updates began in late February as the season was curtailed.  We wanted to provide a frequent and regular communication to keep supporters up-to-date with events at the club.  We hope this has been successful and with the season drawing near and The Venue in full swing this is the final Weekly Club Update for now.  We will continue to keep you abreast of all things Brackley Town through match previews, match reports, interviews with Kevin and players and all the news around the club and in The Venue on the website, on social media, through the newsletter and the match-day programme.

First team

Tuesday’s Newlands Shield game versus Corby Town was well attended on a beautiful summer’s evening and supporters were treated to a competitive game and plenty of goals.  On Saturday we travel to Banbury United and on Tuesday evening to Kettering Town before Northampton Town are our visitors on Tuesday 27 July with a 7pm kick-off as Cobblers’ manager Jon Brady brings his side to SJP.

New signings Louis Lomas and Brad Rolt put in strong performances against Corby.  Look out for news of two further new signings shortly as Kevin builds the squad ahead of the 14 August big kick-off.
