Saints suffered a first defeat in 14 league games at Boston United on Tuesday night, a re-arranged fixture after United’s successful FA Cup run.  The Pilgrims’ withstood Saints’ dominance and numerous goal-scoring moments before pouncing with an 86th minute winner, only their second shot on target of the match in a classic smash and grab.

 

 

 

After Saturday’s win at Bradford (PA), Saints head to Boston United on Tuesday evening for a re-arranged fixture.

This could well be our last ever visit to The Jakemans Stadium as The Pilgrims expect to be moved into their new stadium for next season.  We have enjoyed some memorable and high-scoring games at Boston over the years and it has often been a happy hunting ground.

 

Kevin Wilkin takes his side to Bradford (PA) on Saturday after another two week lay-off, Tuesday evening’s game at Kettering Town falling foul of some stormy weather to be called off for a second time.
