The next fixture for Kevin Wilkin’s Saints is the visit of Northamptonshire neighbours Kettering Town to St James Park in a re-arranged game from Boxing Day with kick-off 7.45pm.

The match has been designated as the annual memorial game when both clubs remember supporters and those involved in our clubs who have passed away over the last 12 months.  Names are in the match-day programme and a minute’s applause will be held before kick-off.

Brackley Town FC v Hereford FC - Vanarama National League North - Saturday 8th January 2022  KO 3.00pm

It is FA Cup Third Round weekend and everybody remembers Hereford for their amazing run in the cup exactly 50 years ago including their 2-1 replay win over top flight Newcastle United starring Ronnie Radford’s iconic goal.  Neither Brackley nor Hereford are in FA Cup action on Saturday but instead Saints take on Hereford at St James Park in a National League North fixture.  This comes ahead of Tuesday’s re-arranged home game against Kettering Town.

Hereford’s last two games were lost due to Covid so there is relief all round that this game gets the go ahead.
