Brackley Town FC v Daventry Town FC - Northamptonshire FA Hillier Senior Cup 2021-22 - Tuesday 23rd November KO 7.45pm
League action takes a break with Tuesday’s Hillier Cup game against Daventry Town followed by next Saturday’s FA Trophy tie versus Boston United.  Both cup games will be played at St James Park.

Tuesday’s game against NPL Division One Midlands side Daventry Town is a quarter-final tie in the 2021-22 Hillier Cup with a 7.45pm kick-off.  This competition has been contested since 1883.  Saints were last winners in 2015 beating Peterborough Northern Star in the final.  Daventry reached the final themselves in 2013 losing out to Corby Town.

While Saints drew with Curzon Ashton on Saturday to retain second place in the National League North table, Daventry lost at Stamford.  The two teams have met on many occasions in this competition with games always well contested affairs.

The other three ties in the competition have been played.  Winners were AFC Rushden and Diamonds, Peterborough Sports and Bugbrooke St Michael.  One of them awaits the winner of the tie on Tuesday in the semi-final.

Spectators are urged to purchase tickets for the game against Daventry Town on-line in advance.  Ticket prices are reduced for this game.  Cash/card payment is available n person on the evening but allow extra time if choosing to buy your tickets this way.
